A highly efficient mechanical and chemical filtration process for clean DG exhaust.
Exhaust Intake
Hot, untreated exhaust gases laden with soot, Particulate Matter (PM), and toxic gases exit the diesel generator and are routed directly into the heavily insulated RECD chamber.
HC, CO & PM Oxidation Chamber
The gases pass through a specialized oxidation catalyst. Here, toxic Carbon Monoxide (CO) and unburnt Hydrocarbons (HC) undergo a chemical reaction, converting them into harmless Carbon Dioxide and water vapor.
Particle Regenerative Trap
The exhaust then flows through a high-efficiency Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) / Particle Regenerative Trap. This honeycomb-like structure physically captures and traps fine soot and Particulate Matter (PM) within its porous walls.
Continuous Regeneration
Using the natural high heat of the generator's exhaust (or assisted heaters for low-load setups), the trapped soot is continuously oxidized and burned off as ash. This prevents the filter from clogging.
Clean Exhaust Discharge
The fully treated, purified exhaust is released into the atmosphere via the exhaust stack, achieving a >70% reduction in harmful emissions and strictly meeting CPCB/NGT norms.
Sludge Management (Dewatering)
The settled organic sludge collected from the primary and secondary clarifiers is processed through a filter press or sludge drying beds. This removes excess water, converting the wet waste into dry, solid cakes for safe environmental disposal or use as organic manure.
