Raw Water Pumping & Chemical Dosing
Raw water is pumped into the system while anti-scalant chemicals are precisely dosed. This crucial step prevents scaling (like calcium and magnesium buildup) on the delicate RO membranes.
Multi-Grade Sand Filtration (MGF)
The water passes through a pressure sand filter to remove physical impurities, suspended solids, dust, and dirt down to 30-50 microns.
Activated Carbon Filtration (ACF)
The water is pushed through a bed of granular activated carbon. This removes chlorine, color, foul odors, and organic compounds that could otherwise oxidize and destroy the RO membranes.
Micron Cartridge Filtration (MCF)
Acting as a final security checkpoint, a 5-micron cartridge filter captures any remaining fine particles or escaped filter media before the water enters the high-pressure zone.
High-Pressure Membrane Separation
A high-pressure pump forces the pre-treated water through micro-porous semi-permeable membranes (0.0001 microns). Pure water (permeate) pushes through, while dissolved salts and heavy metals are flushed out as reject water.
UV/Ozone Disinfection & Storage (Optional)
For applications requiring absolute microbiological safety (like Pharma or Food & Bev), the pure water undergoes UV or Ozone treatment before being sent to the final storage tank.
